LEAD LINE
Open to riders 6 years of age & under. The class will be worked at a walk, both directions of the ring. In the line up the rider may be asked to back the horse to help the judge determine the extent of the rider's horsemanship. If the judge asks the rider to back the horse in the line up, the leader should not aid the rider. The rider will be judged on basic horsemanship; the position in the saddle, hand, legs, seat and back position. Lead Line will be held at approximately 12:00 pm

TRI STATE HORSE SHOW ASSN
MEDAL CLASS
To be shown over a course consisting of a minimum of eight fences, with two changes of direction. Riders will be required to show at a walk, trot and canter. To be judged on seat, hands, guidance and control of horse. Each phase will count 50%.  To fill a class, six competitors have to complete the course over fences. Fence height varies with the riders age: See Equitation fence heights. Qualification for the TSHSA Medal Finals will be based on accumulated points: 1st=10 2nd=7; 3rd=5; 4th=3; 5th=1. It will take ten (10)points to qualify each year for the finals.
 
 
 
DEBUT JUMPERS
Open to horses and ponies.  Same horse and rider combination is not permitted in any other jumper division at this show.  Same horse and rider combination eligible for this division for 2 show seasons. Scoring will be one optimum time class each day and one jump off. No open speed classes.  Fence height 2'3".
