MANAGEMENT Management and/or Property Owners will not assume responsibility for any accident to horse, property or any person on or off the grounds. Nor will Management or anyone connected with this show be responsible for any such accidents or damage. The exhibitors will hold themselves harmless and indemnify themselves against any legal proceeding arising from any such accident or damage. THIS WILL BE A CONDITION OF ENTRY TO THIS SHOW OR SHOW GROUNDS. Management reserves the right to cancel or postpone any class due to unforeseen weather conditions judged to be hazardous or detrimental to the safety and general welfare of the participants, mounts, and/or facilities. The right is also reserved to cancel, combine or postpone classes if insufficient entries warrant. In some classes a mandatory line may restrict the area of the Courtesy Circle. This line will be shown on the course diagram. Management reserves the right to refuse any entry. The 2008 Showtime Series at Delaware is operated in accordance with the current rules of OPHA, OHJA, KHJA and the Tri-State Horse Show Association. To be eligible for the Annual High Score Awards, the owner must be a member, and the horse or pony must be registered with the Association. All exhibitors at the 2008 Showtime Series at Delaware will be eligible for year end series awards. STABLING 10' X 10' Box stalls in a permanent barn. First bedding provided. STRAW ONLY Additional bedding for sale on the grounds (Straw will be expensive. Please try to bring your own). Stall and Tack stall fees $75.00 per weekend, additional $25.00 for Rabbit Barn. AN ADDITIONAL $30.00 CLEAN UP CHARGE WILL BE CHARGED ON STALLS USING SHAVINGS. Stalls will be available Thursday. Please call ahead with accurate stall reservations. HORSE SHOW OFFICE The office will open 1 hour prior to the start of the show each day and close after the show has concluded. A $10.00 office charge will be assessed for each entry. Entries split between more than one rider will have an office charge for each split. Any horse show bill not checked out at the conclusion of the show will be assessed a $25.00 billing fee and will automatically be billed for a stall. SCHOOLING SAND SCHOOLING AREA NEXT TO EACH RING Weather permitting, the rings will be open for schooling each morning of the show until 7:30 AM. There will be a $30.00 schooling fee for non-showing horses. Open schooling is not permitted. Schooling in Ring #3 is reserved for Walk/Trot and Cross Rails exhibitors. No lunging permitted in any of the show rings anytime ENTRIES $15.00 per Hunter Class or $55.00 per Hunter Division, $15.00 per Jumper class and $25.00 per Jumper Stake Class, and $10.00 for Lead Line. Pre-entry is not necessary but would be greatly appreciated. AWARDS Ribbons will be presented to six places in all classes. Champion and Reserve ribbons will be awarded in each Division. Trophies will be awarded to the Champion of each Division provided all four classes of a division are held. $10.00 of each entry fee collected for the Jumper Stake classes will be added and the prize money pool will be divided accordingly: 45%, 30%, 15%, 10%. Horses tied will remain tied and divide the prize money. Classes with less than three exhibitors ( that can not be combined with another class ) will be cancelled. ALL EXHIBITORS MUST WEAR ASTM APPROVED HEADGEAR AT ALL TIMES WHILE MOUNTED CHAMPION & RESERVE AWARDS A Champion and Reserve champion for each eligible hunter division is to be determined after the last class for each division, provided that all four classes were held. The determination is to be done in a manner consistent with current USEF specifications. The top four horses or ponies from those receiving points over fences also receive any points from the under saddle class. The top two are then the show champion and reserve. Points are assigned in this manner: 1st=10, 2nd=6, 3rd=4, 4th=2, 5th=1, 6th=½. In the event of a tie the horse with the most points over fences will be the Champion. A Jumper Champion and Reserve champion will be determined after the last class for each division, provided that all classes were held. Points are assigned 1st=10 2nd=6, 3rd=4, 4th=2. 5th=1,6th=½. Horses tied will remain tied and a flip of the coin will determine the Champion and Reserve. SERIES AWARDS A SERIES AWARD will be presented for Champion and Reserve Champion in each division. Ribbons will be awarded to sixth place. DOGS Dogs must be kept on a leash and under the control of a responsible person. Loose dogs may be impounded by a Delaware County Fairgrounds official. A $25.00 fine will be imposed for all impounded dogs. Showtime & Associates assumes no responsibility for impounded dogs. BREAKFAST Thank you to Heritage and The Castelli Family, who will sponsor a complimentary continental breakfast each Sunday at 7:30 AM . CAMPERS Camper hook-ups are available on the grounds for a fee of $25.00 per night. This applies to any one camping on the grounds in a horse trailer using an electrical hook-up. Tents are not permitted. RING CONFLICTS If you have a conflict or any problems getting in the show ring, please contact Diana Lutsko. Ask the in-gate person or any Showtime personnel to radio Diana to come to your ring. We will make every effort to get you in the show ring as quickly as possible but we can not delay the show for conflicts. If you are showing or have clients in several rings, please coordinate with Diana where we need you to be first. GOLF CARTS Any golf cart or other motorized vehicle may only be operated on the fairgrounds by a licensed driver. The fairgrounds reserves the right to take possession of any cart or motorized vehicle being used in an unsafe or inappropriate manor.
